About Lisa M. Youngblood

I look forward to working with and for you.

I'm Lisa M. Youngblood, a proud Cincinnati native, U.S. Military Veteran, and life-long advocate for fairness, accountability, and safer communities. I'm running for Springfield Township Trustee to ensure that every resident has a voice and that our township thrives with integrity, transparency, and community-first leadership.

I am proud to be a daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, and partner to those who share my passion for service. Together, we understand the importance of strengthening relationships, education, workforce development opportunities, and empowering  residents.

I promise to bring that same commitment, courage and energy to Springfield Township as a Trustee. In addition, I understand that great service requires great teamwork. My incumbents have contributed a lot to our township and have created a path for continued success.

Continued

In 2024, I was honored with the Minette Cooper Award for my community advocacy, a recognition that reflects my unwavering dedication to strengthening relationships, accountability, and growing our community. From organizing basketball leagues for youth and adolescents with our local YMCA's to serving as a board member of Forest Park Chamber of Commerce, I've spent my life building stronger and safer communities by changing mind sets and providing structure and access to resources.

As a former athlete, I respect and understand the value of working with my team; the other Trustees, township administrators, first responders, stakeholders, and our residents in each of our township neighborhoods; as well as honoring the hard work put forth by my two incumbents.

I am so excited to serve!

I AM THE CHANGE

In 1983, Motorola launched the Dynatac 8000X, its first cell phone. Since then, technology has progressed with stronger materials, smarter designs, adaptability, and an ongoing focus on efficiency and reliability..

In 2025, Springfield Township deserves new leaders who demonstrate resilience, creativity, adaptability, and a commitment to continual improvement. By championing innovative ideas, pursuing real results, and remaining flexible in the face of change, our community can advance with the same energy and purpose that drives technological growth.

In 2016, Springfield Township adopted the "Master Plan", which was a sincere effort to address unique opportunities that each neighborhood faced.

While change is not always quick, popular or easy, it's a necessary. I promise to protect the hard work and foundation laid by former Trustees, and work closely with my fellow Trustees, residents and stakeholders to create change that will be a strategic pivot from where we are to where we (as a Township) want to be.
